What will you do!?
- Coordinate the schedules and routes of truck drivers
- Arrange for the pickup and delivery of freight, considering customer time frames
- Act as the liaison between drivers and vendors
- Ensure dispatched drivers are compliant with route requirements
- Record and maintain all relevant data, including driver's hours, delivery locations, freight information, etc.
- Intake customer complaints and inquiries
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls
- Resolve or report issues in a timely and professional manner
- Keep customers informed of delivery dates and times, and communicate with drivers to troubleshoot delays
- Use various software to bill operations, track containers, and complete other daily activities
- Log calls, review driver logs, and keep records of freight, routes, etc.
- Other duties as needed
Job Requirements:

- At least 3 years Dispatch experience in Trucking
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing trucking operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
