Tiello has partnered with one of the nation's leading commercial masonry contractors in the Atlanta, GA area on their search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support smooth office operations at their national headquarters.
The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing transactions, daily bookkeeping, and financial reporting .
Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Commercial Construction Operations)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Process invoices for prompt payment
- Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Verify transaction information
- Manage and oversee delinquent accounts and payments/reminders
- Prepare financial reports
- Function in a fast-paced construction office environment with >$1.5MM in payables per month
- Familiarity with construction job costing highly desirable
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience in a construction setting (ideally with a general or subcontractor)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize to-dos, and maintain an organized office environment
- Proficiency with ComputerEase software highly desirable
- Proficiency in ensuring accuracy in documentation, financial transactions, and other administrative tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, clients, and vendors effectively
