Location:

Our main leasing office is in Clemson. You will have an office on-site in Pendleton. You must have reliable transportation to be able to go between office locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As one of the property managers for Tiger Properties, you will be involved in the daily leasing and management aspects of the property. There are some leasing agents who will be working underneath you to help with showings and lead follow up. You will be responsible for converting applications into leases. You will also be responsible for helping the properties hit certain occupancy and financial goals. Weekends are not typical, but there may be an occasional need. The busiest time of the year is typically during turn season. Since we manage primarily student housing, the turn time period is typically from mid July to mid August. We host frequent resident events and have extensive social media marketing which will require someone with knowledge of effective marketing plans. As a property manager you will also be responsible for handling delinquency and evictions. You can also expect to:

  • Field calls and respond to email inquiries from prospective tenants
  • Give tours of model homes
  • Keep files organized
  • Fill out and sign lease agreements
  • Screen residents based on standard screening criteria
  • Keep daily and weekly leasing activity reports
  • Communicate with maintenance and vendors
  • Reach out to residents to keep good rapport

If you are a licensed real estate agent, we also have a sales division where you can hang your license and practice real estate sales.

Experience:

Previous student housing experience preferred but not required

Previous experience with Appfolio or I Love Leasing preferred but not required

Previous accounting or customer service experience is preferred

Licenses:

Must have a South Carolina Property Management or Sales license and keep your license in active status during employment

Must have a Drivers’ License
