Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Cherry Picker Operator will be responsible for but not limited to the movement and storage of product in the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Operate a cherry picker to pick orders and put away items in assigned warehouse locations
- Operate Order Pickers and Scanning equipment technology to locate and pick orders through the warehouse
- Count and confirm inventory
- Use RF scanner and computers to accurately pick and put away merchandise
- Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Experience/Skills/Abilities
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum (1) years of Cherry Picking relevant work experience is required.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Effectively communicate in English
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Being comfortable with heights working strapped in a harness and repeatedly lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Proficient with Reading Orders and Basic Math Skills
- Proficient in following written and verbal instructions.
- Experience with computers is preferred
- Interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with all members of the team
