We are seeking an assistant in a fast-paced office environment for a Legal Assistant position. You will be assisting attorneys in in-taking new client, scheduling, calendar management, case organization, and contacting claims representatives on behalf of the office and our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job Requirements:
Assist attorneys as needed, including but not limited to in-taking new clients, managing calendar(s), drafting correspondence, organization and processing of medical bills and records, organization of files for settlement, trials and hearings. Due to the nature of the professional, confidentiality is essential and required.

- Command of customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and high organizational skills. Ability to follow stand procedures. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, and work independently. Must be a self-starter and have good time-management.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm to learn new ideas, concepts and skills.
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems.
Qualifications and Skills
Basic office skills:
- Professional telephone demeanor: comfortable being on the phone throughout the day
- Familiarity with telephone etiquette and multi-line phone systems.
- Computer literacy, preferred proficiency with with Corel WordPerfect.
- Spelling and typing accuracy.
- Data entry experience.
Other Information:
- Full time- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
- Salary: Commensurate with experience.
