What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Timpanogos Vision Center?
Timpanogos Vision Center in Highland and Pleasant Grove is a professional private Optometry practice. We have been serving the vision needs of northern Utah County for over 25 years. We are needing an experienced Optician/Receptionist. Optical experience is preferred but will train the right person. We are looking for those who are passionate about providing superior customer service to our patients. We are technology driven so computer competence and the ability to use different testing instruments is necessary. Duties include answering phones, making appointments, pre-testing patients, billing insurance, ordering glasses/contacts, frame adjusting and repair, light house keeping, etc. Optical and contact lens sales are an important part of our practice. We don't do commission sales (we do have a generous bonus program)but the ability to present premium frame/lens options effectively is important to us. Due to the nature of the position the ability to multitask and work accurately are essential. We are also looking for those who are planning on being in the area long term and are looking for long term employment.
