What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Tiny Builders?
Tiny Builders is looking to hire a laborer. Please read the entire ad before responding. This is a labor intensive job. You must know how to be on time, be able to stay off your cell phone and be willing to work. If you do not meet those three requirements, please do not apply.
Tiny Builders is based out of South Boston, VA but travels back and forth between Virginia and North Carolina to work. We work all year round, despite the weather and we are looking for someone who is responsible, willing to work, and is eager to learn.
We are willing to train so you do not necessarily need a ton of experience but some knowledge of tools is helpful. Job Duties include but are not limited to Lifting, carrying, and manually transporting construction materials, tools, and supplies. Cleaning tools and equipment, making sure materials are neatly stacked and arranged. Must make sure that the work area is clean at the end of the day, this is done by all employees daily. You cannot be afraid of heights as we do roofing work and decking that can require use of a ladder. You must have reliable transportation to South Boston.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
