Titan Brands is Hiring an Accounting Intern Near Memphis, TN
Description
We are looking for a Junior or Senior Accounting/Finance (preferred) major to join our Finance and Accounting team at our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN. The successful internship candidate will engage in work on a variety of accounting-related disciplines such as account reconciliations, variance analysis, lease/contract review, bank reconciliations, and refunds processing and research. Expected Internship Program Timeline
- Starting Spring 2023 – Summer 2023.
- 30 Hours per week
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 80 hours of completed course work towards a bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated academic success (Minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Proficient in MS WORD, Excel
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Basic accounting knowledge/skills including knowledge of general ledger
- Currently enrolled student
Requirements
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts according to defined timeline ensuring general ledger transactions are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in financial statements.
- Analyze and report on monthly expense variance to plan.
- Assist with Bank Reconciliations
- Assist with Refunds processing & research
- Prepare general ledger entries and perform other month-end tasks
- Perform other tasks and assist with special projects, as necessary.
