Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator at Titan Restoration Co. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Construction/Masonry/Restoration/Waterproofing estimating skills
- Quantity Take-offs, and Cost Management skills in the above industries
- Effective Communication and Budgeting skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Proficiency in construction estimating software/tools
- Experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Responsibilities include
- Attend pre-bid meetings and perform take-offs, and get all information to complete the bid documents.
- Review bid requirements thoroughly and ask follow-up question on every bid.
- Read drawings, plans and specifications for bid details.
- Have a thorough understanding of the scope for specific trades assigned.
- Develop RFI's and clarifications.
- Prepare estimates, bid forms and cost proposals outlining scope of work and cost to complete.
- Follow up on submitted bids and budgets with Architect and/or Property Owner/Manager to close business.
- Perform site visits to review deficiencies and maintenance items on building envelopes.
- Perform façade inspections and leak investigations and prepare comprehensive photo report with repair recommendations and cost proposal.
- Manage the projects you bid/sell from start to completion.
- Professionally communicate with our clients to schedule site visits and follow up on sales.
- Attend marketing events to gain new clients.
- Develop and maintain good customer relations.
