Titan Solar Power is currently seeking an experienced and driven Design Project Manager I to Join our team.
Summary:
Manages projects completed by outside designers throughout the entire process. Project managers will review projects as they enter the system, determine the proper interconnection, layout, etc., and forward the plans to an external designer for completion. Upon the external designer completing the design the project manager will review projects and notify the appropriate personnel of any changes or additional adders.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects within a designated region or area including project revisions and sales changes.
Stay current in Jurisdiction & Utility within the assigned region or area of responsibility.
Interpret Jurisdiction & Utility rejections and find optimal solutions.
Complete electrical service load calculations.
Identify optimal interconnection for projects.
Identify required adders for projects.
Provide timely responses to internal questions per SOP’s.
Understand project processes outside of design. IE. Permitting, Utility submission
Stay current on knowledge of new PV & ESS systems and configurations.
Education & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3 years of PV Design experience
Ability to read measurements and plans
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Knowledge of Electrical or Structural design (useful but not necessary)
Knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
Associates level education
Exceptional attention to detail & ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic
Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask are key
Physical Requirements:
Alternate sitting or standing at will
Crouching or bending
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Able to travel up to 20% of the time
