Pre-K Assistant Teacher (ages 4-5 years old)

Overview:

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our family - owned business of 42 years is seeking a dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a fun, nurturing learning environment for young children. This position is year-round.

Responsibilities:

• Taking daily attendance throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
• Able to sit down and get up off the floor.
• Must be able to interact with children, parents, and staff in a friendly enthusiastic manner.
• Establish a good rapport with the children through conversations, supervised time at our learning centers, songs, and helping the children daily.
• Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a licensed childcare center
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
