Position: IT Tech

Reports to: IT System Administrator

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt

Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the operation of the in-house computer network, hardware, software, computer systems and peripherals. Diagnose, resolve and document hardware and software network issues in a timely and accurate fashion, provide end user training and support as required.

Essential Duties:

• Network user support including all common applications and hardware;
• Identifies systems issues and proposes solutions; 
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner; 
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner while at the workplace;
• Communicates daily activity to oncoming shifts
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associate degree in Information Technology preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
• One (1) or more years of equivalent experience is required; 
• Additional training and/or education in information systems is preferred such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, A , Network , etc. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understand and comply with all Company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures; 
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers;
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures; 
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of place and solid geometry;
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; 
• Basic analytical and deductive reasoning ability; 
• Must be competent in computer skills; 
• Must have superior interpersonal relations skills; 
• Must have ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and on call.

• Work involves almost constant exposure to elements, such as dirt dust, fumes, smoke, flashing lights and loud noises.
