We are seeking an experienced Residential Painter with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the residential and commercial painting industry. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes. Attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for delivering exceptional results are essential qualities we're looking for. Must have professional experience with your own hand tools. Compensation is based on experience and expertise in the field. Our employees are expected to arrive on time to our office in Shelby Township, have or obtain all required hand tools, look presentable each day and arrive ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare painting surfaces by cleaning walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
• Select appropriate paints and ensure they are applied correctly
• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Ensure quality and accuracy in all painting projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Residential Painter
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
