What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Top Shelf Staffing LLC?
Top Shelf is now hiring several Assemblers behalf of our partner, located in Alliance, Ohio. Our partner is a premier plastics supplier with openings on first, second, and third shift. Open to entry level candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job. Review production priorities.
- Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins.
- Retrieves product for trimming or assembly and moves to designated areas when complete.
- Finishes molded product using various methods designated for the job.
- Use of hand/power tools, pallet jack, hot iron, and open flame.
- Completes product labels and ensures product is identified throughout each operation.
- Responsible for final inspection of product and ensures that product is of excellent quality before shipping to the Customer.
- Use of Reporting system to record production.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to operate and maintain industrial equipment
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $14.00 - $15.75 per hour
