A. JOB SUMMARY
Supervises Quality Control Inspector’s in our Rochester facility. Performs audits on incoming, in process, and final products. Rejects products and materials not meeting specifications
B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain production within quality standards
2. Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures
3. Complete all required safety training
4. Perform clean-ups, and maintain area cleanliness
5. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area
6. Assist Plant Manager and Supervisor as needed
7. To work as a team with others in plant
8. Work any overtime as needed
9. Rejects products and materials not meeting specifications
10. Performs audits on incoming, in process, and final products
11. Analyzes and interprets blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required
12. Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, installations, and works for conformance to specifications
13. Notifies supervisor and other personnel of production problems, and assists in identifying and correcting these problems
14. Discusses inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective action
15. Records inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and qualities inspected or graded
16. Observes and monitors production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments
17. Hand tools, such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
18. Analyzes test data and makes computations as necessary
19. Experience in driving forklift
20. Any and all other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
21. Your attendance during scheduled work hours is an essential function of this position
C. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Quality Control Inspector’s in both the Argos and Rochester facilities
D. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Balancing - maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching
2. Bending and stooping - bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, 8 hours per day, intermittently

F. VISUAL / HEARING ACUITY REQUIREMENTS
1. Visual requirement – employee is required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/ or assembly or fabrication parts at a distances close to the eyes
2. Hearing requirement - perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. The ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make the discriminations of sounds
G. ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
1. The employee is subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
2. The employee is subject to both environmental conditions, activities which occur inside and outside
3. The employee is subject to hazards. This includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, heat and/or exposure to chemicals
