Mechanical Assembler

Job Details:
Contract to hire position
Position is Daylight shift. Monday to Thursday schedule, overtime when needed on Fridays

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of precision machined metal parts
• Use of various hand tools, Wrenches, sockets, micrometers, hammers..etc
• Use of small power tools. Drills, power screw drivers, grinders
• High attention to detail, visual inspection of parts for blemishes
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Ability to work for blue prints or schematics

• High school diploma or GED equivalent or AS degree
• 1 years of related work experience or AS degree in related field
• Prior mechanical assembly experience; ability to work from prints or assembly instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs to move finished units
• This is a bench assembly position.
