Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and materials laboratory located in Grove City, OH manages the entire life cycle of all our products including supply chain development, research and development, manufacturing, testing and distribution.
This is a 2nd shift position, with working hours of 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and is eligible for a 13% shift differential.
Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up/running machinery used with sputtering targets. Also, they perform maintenance on machines and equipment and inspect parts used in both sputtering targets and electron beam welding assembly.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Successfully set-up and run all sputtering target related machinery.

Perform testing and inspection on sputtering targets, including leak testing and CMM testing.

Inspect and prepare component parts for electron beam welding assembly.

Decan powder metal product after consolidation process.

Rework defective/non-conforming parts.

Complete other tasks as needed in support of machining and welding operations.

Other related duties.
Education:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
Previous experience with machinery/manufacturing is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:

Basic math and computer skills.

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings.

Ability to work effectively with different personnel throughout the workday.

Some basic machining skills or training would be a plus.
-
Commitment to dependability, quality, and safety.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis.

Frequent bending/twisting required

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
