What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finisher I (Cast Polymers) position at Tower Industries LTD?
Tower Industries Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Finisher 1 located at their headquarters in the Massillon, Ohio area.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Sanding: Sands solid surface products, using both sanding machines and tools to include hand/arm (large multi-head)/palm sanders.
Cutting: Cuts solid surface products to exact measurements using beam saw, table saw, or other appropriate means.
Measure & Inspect: Measures and inspects finished fabricated pieces or panels for conformance to quality requirements.
Packaging & Cleaning: Prepares and cleans fabricated pieces for shipment to customers, including labeling in accordance with customer requirements or internal procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- OSHA Safety training, preferred
- Prior experience using sanding equipment, saws, hand tools, measuring tools
- Strong math skills, must be able to understand fractions
