Summary
Town Country Early Learning Center is looking for Lead Teachers to join our team of educators working with children infants though before and after school. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.
NO WEEKENDS! NO NIGHTS! And a cleaning company that cleans the center at night!
Infant/Toddler teachers are responsible for the supervision of up to 8 children (with 2 teachers) ages 6 weeks to 36 months
Preschool teachers are responsible for the supervision of up to 10 children ages 3-5 years
Full and Part time positions available
Duties
Responsibilities include:
- Using positive discipline techniques to support independence, self-regulation, and social skills
- Supporting children in developing self-help skills
- Record keeping
- Communicating with families
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Maintaining conduct and professionalism
- Creating and maintaining a safe, learning environment
- Creating and implementing curriculum that supports children's growth and development in alignment with the CTELDS
- Gathering data regarding children's growth and development in alignment with the CTDOTS
- Maintaining required certifications - CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Background checks, CT Charts-A-Course Registry, current statement of good health
- Demonstrating reliability and punctuality
Requirements
Teachers must have earned an Associates or BA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - or be in the process
Experience working with young children
