The Grounds Maintenance Worker - Seasonal reports to the Parks Field Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
This is a part-time seasonal position which typically works between 10 and 19 hours weekly.

The Grounds Maintenance Worker - Seasonal reports to the Parks Field Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:
- Performs turf maintenance cultural practices utilizing motorized equipment.
- Performs mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivation, fertilization, watering and pruning operations
- Performs general landscape and cleanup duties, including trash and debris removal, graffiti removal and litter pickup.
- Performs tree maintenance utilizing chainsaws, stump grinders pole saws and chippers.

- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Six months previous experience and/or training in grounds maintenance, athletic field maintenance, irrigation system maintenance, equipment operation and manual labor.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
