The actual salary offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity considerations.

Special Requirement
Final candidates will undergo a thorough background investigation, including a polygraph examination, due to this position’s supporting role within the Police Department.
The following are intended to describe core work functions of this classification. While the level and broad nature of essential duties may not change, specific work tasks will vary over time depending on the Town’s needs.
- Implements IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget;
- Manages IT related projects from inception to completion; researches assigned problems or issues, analyzes findings, develops reports and recommendations, and presents findings to relevant staff; facilitates meetings with staff and contractors to discuss project goals and progress.
- Plans complex projects by developing and writing scope of work and all other project documentation; determines the appropriate use of professional/technical staff and resources to conduct projects; communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate personnel as it relates to projects in order to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities.
- Assists in long range and strategic technology planning; develops and executes technology life cycle management strategy; identifies plans and implements technology projects; develops technology project proposals, including business justification and risk assessment for projects; assigns professional and technical staff and resources to conduct the projects.
- Creates reports for managing work and data.
- Participate in training staff on use of application and new features.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems and 3 years of experience in implementation of IT infrastructure, system integration and/or software applications; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- AZ Driver’s License.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) desirable.
- Maintain all certifications/licenses required at job entry.
