PAY & BENEFITS :
Hiring Range: $47,378 - $52,116
Full Range: $47,378 - $71,732
In addition to the base salary, this full-time position is eligible for an annual performance bonus and a longevity bonus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to operate and maintain all wastewater treatment plant equipment and lift stations.
- Ability to monitor plant operations regularly for proper operation and treatment.
- Perform maintenance of equipment related to maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and lift stations to include calibration of feeders and instruments, and repair feeders, pumps, motors, hoists, backflow preventers, valves, and other treatment equipment.
- Operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system, maintain, calibrate and repair electronics equipment.
- Enter and update files on a computer for preparing reports, spreadsheets, historical information, maintenance records and letters as directed.
- Maintain sanitary cleanliness of work areas, the treatment plant and associated facilities.
- Maintain records in compliance to Federal, State, and City regulations.
- Work safely observing all OSHA, Federal, State and City regulations. Report any accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Correctly wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a Wastewater and Collection System License or the ability to obtain.
- Must have a valid Tennessee Driver's License
- Must obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of hire.
- Must have an active telephone number for 24 hour contact.
