What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Grinder position at TPI Staffing Group?
In immediate need of an Aluminum Finishing Grinder in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $18.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Determine product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground
- Determinate grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used
- Grind wheel maintenance bu replacing worn grind wheels
- Lift and hoist products for grind of external surfaces
- Manual grind welds and DA sanding aluminum
- Rough and finish of flat, cylindrical, and conical surfaces
- Remove metal by application of abrasives which are bonded to form a rotating wheel
- Confirm ground work piece has the correct specifications
- Read and interpret charts, drawings, and blueprints
Requirements:
- Must work well with others in a team atmosphere
- Must maintain attendance and dependability out on the floor
- Pre-employment drug screen required
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
