- Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foreman, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of the projects.
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
- Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
- Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
- Oversee safety operation of working crews.
- Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
- Access and implement safe work practices
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards and procedures set forth by Traffic Control Devices
- Represent the company at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors & subcontractors.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to read and interpret TXDOT design construction, standards, drawings and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects.
- Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation and acceptance of the project(s).
- Possess and maintain a valid DL
- Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.
- Excellent math and grammar skills.
- Primavera Schedules & CPM Schedules a plus
- Excellent project correspondence skillset
- Knowledge of fiber optic cable plant construction
- Must be a self-starter and team player
- Minimum of two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related field.
- Business experience preferred.
- Industry experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher.
- Electrical experience a plus.
- Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
- Driver's License preferred, but not required.
