Overview
We are a growing and busy construction supply firm looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant.
Located in Carmel, NY. We supply and manufacture various types of permanent and temporary signage to service lower New York, Connecticut, and Jersey as well as supply various traffic control and safety related items.
The position pays $18-20 per hour. Rate based on experience or other qualifications. Benefits include, Paid Time Off, Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Paid Holidays, 401K and 401K matching, other benefits available after the 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities
- · Answering Phones
· Supporting Walk-In Customers
· File Management and other Clerical Activities
· Data Entry including but not limited to –
o Customer/Vendor Data Entry
o Writing Quotes and Orders
o Establishing Contact Lists
· Preparing Material Certifications for Signature
o Training Provided
· Sending Material Certifications
· Sales Staff Support
o Writing Quotes and Orders
· Marketing Support
· Ordering Supplies
· UPS, Fed-Ex, Post Office tasks.
· Event Planning Support
Skills
· Prior experience a plus but not required, will train the right candidate.
· Ability to maintain a positive, professional can-do attitude.
· Willingness to learn.
· Valid Driver’s License (Must Be Able to Pass MVR Screening).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
