Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel, as well as handling laundry duties.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and towels
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust and polish furniture
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and guest clothing
- Sort and organize laundry items according to color, fabric type, and care instructions
- Handle dry cleaning requests from guests
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads if required
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
