JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Beverage Server
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Supervisor
POSITIONS REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: None
POSITION SUMMARY: SWING SHIFT - Receives beverage orders from guests. Friendly and courteous to all guests at all times. Has been trained in alcohol awareness. Handles guest’s complaints quickly and properly. Maintains the highest level of service standards at all times.
TASKS: Receives beverage orders directly from guests. Places orders to the bartenders in the proper calling order. Observes all alcohol awareness rules when serving the casino guests. Observant and aware of guest needs at all times. Maintains the highest level of sanitation, personal grooming, and personal conduct at all times. Has knowledge of cocktails, beer, wines, and pricing and cash and comp procedures.
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Must be 21 or emancipated. Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and be familiar with most standard drink recipes.
