What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Assistant Teacher position at Tree of Knowledge Learning Center?
Tree of Knowledge is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers! This teacher would support various age groups!
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!
Required Availability: Monday - Friday, 11am, 12pm, 1pm or 2pm until 6pm
Compensation: $11 -$13 per hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
