Job Description
What you will do:
Lead the Tri-County Health Department Nurse Support Program in Arapahoe County.
The Nurse Support Program Activities include:
- supervising the public health nurses providing home visitation to families referred by Arapahoe County Human Services.
- managing county contractual deliverables.
- promoting comprehensive public health nursing interventions for families in crisis.
- coordinating community partnerships to improve services for children and youth with special health care needs.
- participating in contractual planning and home visitation programming.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years and a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision, preferably Reflective Supervision practice
- Demonstrated experience leading effective teams
- Related experience working with multi-disciplinary partners, agencies or programs
Knowledge of:
- Reflective Supervision or operative coaching skills
- Principles of nursing practice
- Home visitation practices
- Comprehensive knowledge of community-based resources and supports
- Principles of program planning including quality improvement design and monitoring
- Program management including contract deliverables, billing and invoicing
- Principles and practices of multi-agency collaboration and contractual agreements
- Computer applications used in data collection and
- functional analysis of health data.
Special Qualifications:
A valid Colorado Driver’s License with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
Additional Information
Salary Range: $38.55 - $48.20/hour
