What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Accounts Specialist position at Tri-state Community Health Center?
Responsible for accounts receivable of patient accounts, accurately posting patient payments, collection calls, collection follow-up once accounts are past due. Answer patient inquiries & assist patient in the understanding of their statement. Maintain the confidentiality of patient interactions and health information at all times. Must be able to effectively communicate with the public. Knowledge of Medical coding and Insurances a plus.
