Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Rep to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for any customer who has a question or issue with a product that the company sells. This position has various responsibilities ranging from answering phone calls, addressing issues, and processing payments and/or returns. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist sales department with order processing
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and telephone
- Research required information using available resources
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Provide customers with product information
- Process orders
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Route calls to appropriate departments
- Follow up customer calls where necessary
- Complete call logs and daily route sheets
- Answering phones in a busy, fast paced environment
- Transfer callers to appropriate personnel / departments
Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in customer service or in a similar role.
- Hospitality/Wine industry experience preferred, but will consider experience outside of the wine industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Willingness and ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities and to remain calm and courteous in all situations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Team-player and problem-solving skills
- Highly productive in order entry
- Pays close attention to detail
