About the Role
**Local Candidates Only will be considered** The Software Developer II’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements and may require direction from a more senior developer. Responsibilities include writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build solutions with one or more of the following software development platforms: C#, ASP.NET, React, React-Native, Blazor, Microsoft SQL (with EF-Core), or related technologies
Proficient knowledge of developing in one or more of Tria Health’s software platforms: Web-based, Mobile, and/or WinForms (for our legacy system) – web and/or mobile experience preferred
Participate, contribute, and lead some or all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on a project-by-project basis:
Work with both technical and non-technical staff to interpret and participate in defining and validating the detailed business requirements for a project.
Participate and/or lead an application design process to meet the requirements.
Perform unit, integration, and system tests to ensure programs/modules perform as expected.
Develop detailed and thorough documentation as required.
Meet deadlines throughout the process.
Support and enhance existing applications in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to context-switch effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bring innovation and creative skills to the company.
Assist with Process Improvement process by contributing and looking for opportunities to develop application solutions that add value by automating tasks, gathering better data, providing better customer service experiences, etc.
Learn and follow department coding standards.
Provide support for system issues through analysis and problem solving and recommend or implement the appropriate solution(s).
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Communication with stakeholders, meeting deadlines, and delivering production ready code.

Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of relational databases and database concepts (SQL Server).
Experience with DevExpress, ReactiveUI or WPF is a plus.
API development experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of CQRS/MediatR, dependency injection and other coding principles
Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and micro-services preferred
Knowledge of .NET version 6 and newer
Ability to use Azure DevOps / Git for version control
Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field
OR
Career training program, or technical certificate(s), accompanies by 2 years of experience with Microsoft .NET development
OR
3 years’ experience with Microsoft .NET development

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and printers are utilized. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
Location: Tria Health in Kansas City, MO (Crossroads area). This is not a remote job, but a hybrid schedule can be offered after training.
