Job Title: Residential Flooring Installer (Carpet and Tile)

Pay: Average Weekly Pay: $3,000–$5,000 (paid by the foot, 1099)

Position Overview:
Our partner in Springfield, MO is currently looking for skilled Residential Flooring Installers (Carpet and Tile). The position involves working as part of a team, leading installation projects in homes, and ensuring the proper fit and alignment of flooring materials.

Responsibilities
- Install carpets in residential and commercial settings using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Measure and cut carpets to fit specific areas, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
- Inspect and repair damaged carpets as needed, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installations and ensure timely completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites or in client homes.
- Maintain a clean work environment and uphold quality standards throughout the installation process.

Key Qualifications:

• 2 Crews Total:
• 1 Tile person (1 Lead)
• 1 Carpet crew (1 Lead, 1 Helper)
• Previous experience in residential flooring installation (carpet and tile)
• Van required (box truck or professional van preferred)
• If no Van or Box Truck, you mush have a Trailer
• Tools required for carpet installation: staple gun, cutting tools, power stretcher (manual stretching not accepted)
• Tools required for tile installation: wet saw preferred, grinder, sponge, etc.
• Projects include backsplashes, bathroom floors, and other residential flooring work
• Mileage reimbursement: $1/mile for job sites located 20 miles from the store
• Tile installers tend to earn more due to job complexity
• Additional compensation for extra miles outside the work area

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Carpet or Tile Installation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
