ABOUT THE ROLE :
Multi-role position focused on maintenance and repair of Production equipment, including facility maintenance for the Production area. Responsible for identifying necessary maintenance work, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing components on maching tools, laser welders, steamers, and other line equipment. Maintenance is 20% of this role. Daily Production work as Laser Engraving Technician is the primary focus and 80% of the role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical production equipment
- Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical production equipment
- Competent in preventative equipment maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High school diploma required
- Ability to comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, and operating manuals
- Effectively communicate plans and ideas in both verbal and written form
- Proficiency using computers, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Customer service focused and professional attitude
- Must be able to prioritize, organize time, and take direction
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Work under limited supervision
- Flexible and be open to change
- High level attention to detail
