The IT Administrator II will ensure the seamless delivery of IT services by managing Computer Operations, User Support, Helpdesk Functions, and data. This role involves establishing procedures, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance for hardware, software, and peripherals. Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with team members and vendors to support the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user devices, peripherals, printers, presentation equipment, and software.
- Provide support for local and remote client devices and applications.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on client devices and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts via Active Directory including group membership.
- Use ticketing systems to track and resolve issues effectively.
- Develop user-friendly procedures for device and application use.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and documenting technology systems and support processes.
- Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to address hardware and system issues.
- Maintain OSD systems and assist the core infrastructure team with systems including VoIP and email.
- Perform file-level recoveries and other IT tasks as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- 3β5 years in desktop support or a related IT role.
- Strong customer service orientation including problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven professionalism and ability to work independently or on a team.
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments with competing demands.
- Willingness to work extended hours including weekends, as needed.
