TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has several immediate openings for Mechanical Technician in Grovetown, Georgia.
Overall Purpose
An Inspector/Tech is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly.
Reports to
Site Supervisor/Site Leads
Responsibilities
(To include but not limited to the following)
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility to ensure operational efficiency
Operations
- Performs audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
- Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
- Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
- Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
- Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
- Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Mechanical inclined to do minor repairs.
- Must be a self-starter and should not need adult supervision which includes working with written or verbal instructions.
- Must be able to keep up with daily records, time, quantities and input to our system.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
