CURRENT
OPENING:
*Full-time: 80 hours biweekly
-Typically,
10:00AM to 6:30PM/10:30AM to 7:00PM
-Every
other weekend and holiday required.
The Cook’s Assistant is to prepare food
items in accordance with the standards of Tandem Living and according to
resident preference. This position will also be responsible for the food in two
café areas. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVINGS’
Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High
school diploma or equivalent.
- One-year
of experience or training in preparing and cooking large quantities of food is
preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintains
all cafe areas including but not limited to utilizing leftover food, properly
rotating food, and maintaining the overall appearance.
- Maintains all temperature logs and sanitizing
sheets.
- Accurately prepares high quality desserts and
salad items in accordance with pre-determined menu cycles. Ensures time
schedules are met.
- Cleans and properly sanitizes refrigerators,
ranges, ovens, appliances, utensils, salad bar, and the work area.
