Trinity Extended Day (TED) Teacher
Trinity Episcopal School seeks an extended day Teacher effective for the 2024-25 academic year. This 10-month, part-time position reports directly to the Director of Auxiliary Services. Trinity Extended Day (TED) Teachers will help execute daily lesson activities in a safe and nurturing environment for students and assist with the daily operations of the program. TED teachers will work as members of a collaborative team to deliver a program that is child-centered and focused on enriching the school experience for our students. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 2:30 to 6:00pm with additional hours available during in-service and partial school days. The TED Teacher supports the work of the School by promoting the mission, values, and policies of Trinity Episcopal School.
Job Description
Teachers are responsible to:

Develop and nurture connections with Extended Day students

Supervise students in grades K-8 during recess

Oversee homework
-
Organize activities relative to specific age groups

Communicate concerns to parents and/or Director of Auxiliary Services

Report to and support the Director of Auxiliary Services
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree with a focus on education or related field is preferred, but not required

Successful experience in working with children, preferably in a constructivist or progressive education environment
Skills and Qualifications

Ability to work with students in grades K-8th grade and to develop and maintain excellent working relationships across campus.

Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.
