What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Project Manager position at TRINITY Group Construction, Inc.?
The ideal candidate will assist with the planning, organization, management and control of assigned projects, working directly with the Project Manager (PM) to ensure all project related activities are in order. The APM will be based either at the corporate office or on site, depending on project needs. Activities of the APM typically include: project office operations; integrating with field operations; maintaining site safety program; site productivity; schedule maintenance; quality of work; project budget maintenance; coordinating with accounting personnel; and trade contractor and supplier coordination. The APM reports directly to the PM, and also works in conjunction with the Superintendent. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist PM in management of all project files
- Assist with management, documentation and publication of project meeting minutes
- Support development and maintenance of monthly reports.
- Prioritize and manage project paperwork and the submittal process.
- Maintain adherence to safety program, coordinate with all team members.
- Develop and maintain all project logs; RFI, Submittal, Material Tracking, PCO, etc.
- Assist with management of project schedules.
- Assist with distribution and flow of all project information and files.
- Perform and/or assist in quantity takeoff and pricing estimates.
- Assist project accounting with processing subcontractor requisitions and lien releases.
- Support development of punch list and close-out procedures with the Project Manager.
- Assist with management of the project closeout process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 -4 years' of relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills
Salary : $85,000 - $98,000
