Nanny/House Manager Needed For 2 Children in New Orleans.
The single parent household family needs a part time nanny morning early day shift. Must love kids! Very loyal, honest, great driver, self-organized, motivated, caring, love to be active, with 2 funny energetic twin girls. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Animal lovers please apply (we have a loving mini Frenchie who the girls adore)!
(Our home normally has two nannies, 1 afternoon evening and more morning and early day, occasional weekends with flexible hours)
The Nanny will assist a family with daily childcare/household responsibilities including working in a home environment and providing household support to the entire family. Must be able to work full-time hours, on a flexible schedule. Must be able to work part of morning, afternoon and early evening and 1- 2 weekend a month on Sunday afternoon.
Nanny Job Responsibilities:
- Provides customized and personalized childcare for their children in their home.
- Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.
- Contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop.
- Keeps the children’s areas neat and tidy and does the children’s laundry.
- Transports children to and from activities, grocery shops for the children, and plans the children’s daily schedule.
- May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and privacy
- Maintains a flexible and positive attitude
- Must enjoy interacting with active children and being heavily involved in many aspects of the home life
- Be proactively engaged in the overall tone of the home and always maintain a positive attitude
- Anticipates the needs of the household
- Manages in-home projects
- Helps with meal preparation as needed
- Restocks household inventory of groceries from a list that will be provided
- Helps manage and tidy the house kitchen and laundry room, children’s room, play areas
- Organizes miscellaneous personal requests on a daily basis
- Folding laundry, and putting away children's laundry
- Help the children dress appropriately for the day/Bathin
Work Hours & Benefits
- Typically, workdays are Monday – through Friday 15-25 hours a week~
- Sundays rotational 1x month Sunday (3-6hours max)
- Starting pay $21 and up

Nanny Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- CPR/FA, 1 & 2 (within 6-12 months of hire), and CPI certification
- Any state-mandated certification
- Minimum one (1) year of professional or personal experience supporting children with disabilities or challenging behaviors a plus
- Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus
