Overview
Trissential is seeking a Consultant, Azure API Management Specialist to join our client’s team in a remote-first capacity with occasional onsite presence as needed in St. Paul, MN. In this role, you will lead the design, deployment, and management of APIs within an Azure ecosystem, contributing to the development of an improved workforce platform. Your work will ensure the platform meets accessibility, security, and regulatory standards while providing a seamless user experience. Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and secure APIs to support the workforce platform
- Facilitate connections between a vendor-managed front-end and a client-managed back-end
- Configure API gateways and establish policies for performance, security, and scalability
- Monitor and optimize API performance and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct performance testing and ensure compliance with accessibility and regulatory standards
- Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to client staff
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with Azure API Management and developing RESTful APIs
- 5 years of experience in C# and .NET development, including work with SQL Server databases
- Experience implementing secure and scalable API solutions that align with organizational policies
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for deploying APIs
- Proficiency in modernizing legacy systems and integrating with existing infrastructures
Essential skills
- Expertise in Azure API Management, .NET frameworks, and RESTful API development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing
Experience
- Proven success designing and deploying scalable API solutions in Azure

Benefits
Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $99 800 to $108 000 annually based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
