Our client is an organization in the Dane County area that is looking for a Payroll Manager. This client is looking for someone with 5 years of experience, detail oriented, and highly organized. This company offers a close-knit team, continued growth & opportunity, and a laid-back culture. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $85k - $105k.
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process accurate and timely payroll of all employees, addressing tax, benefit, and compliance-related queries.
- Oversee and execute all payroll processes including benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, etc.
- Ensure proper tax setup, withholdings, and file Federal, State, and Local tax reports.
- Develop, mentor, and guide the team to achieve departmental goals.
- Continuously research and identify industry best practices.
- Manage the Year-end process, ensuring W-2 records are accurate and complete.
The Payroll Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 5 years of related experience, with supervisory/management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with Paychex and Workday preferred.
