About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to our residents in an assisted living facility. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an assisted living facility or similar environment
- Patience and compassion for elderly and disabled individuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Hoyer and Sarah lift
- Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care
- Experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
- Assist with medication management and logging
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with front desk and customer service duties as needed
Skills:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will use your skills in assisted living, patient care, customer service, and front desk duties on a daily basis. You will need to be a fast learner and have excellent logging skills to ensure accurate medication management.
