The purpose of this job is to manage objectives and goals for the Loan Customer Service and Specialized Loan Servicing areas and support two supervisors with human resource management, developing and implementing procedures and management of workflow.
Responsibilities
- Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals.
- Manage the Customer Service area which verifies, balances and maintains loan transactions and researches and finds solutions for external and internal customers for branches in multiple states.
- Manage the Specialized Loan Servicing area which handles non-accrual loans, participation loans, small business administration loans, tax exempted, interest rate changes, and amortizations for branches in multiple states.
- Perform interest accrual recalculations utilizing Excel worksheets and submit corrected entries to loan systems when required.
- Direct the activities of supervised personnel, including hiring, training, managing, counseling and evaluating staff.
- Direct, advise, and assist external and internal customers on issues concerning the loan accounts.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and processes that will advance the Loan Customer Service and Specialized Loan Servicing areas.
- Assist with special projects and merger & acquisitions.
- Research and maintain Floorplan bills monthly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school education/GED and 10 Years direct loan operations experience
- OR-
- Two year college education and 7 - 10 years job related experience
- 7 to 10 years experience with loan systems
- Knowledge of loan policy and procedures (7-10 years)
- Knowledge of loan structure and functionality parameters (7-10 years)
- Knowledge of human resource management (5 to 10 years of supervisory and leadership experience)
- Knowledge of various computer software applications
