CNC Operator

This position requires individuals to be able to set up and operate metal-cutting machinery.  Duties include studying blueprints and creating design, cutting metal and manipulating it to build the project, and performing regular maintenance on the machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Program machine by entering instructions, including zero and reference points
•  Sets-up tooling and attachments such as collets and tool holders
•  Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
•  Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting
•  Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
•  Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
•  Maintain continuity between job orders by documenting and communicating actions
•  Document actions by completing production and quality logs

• Position will require flexibility to work overtime as needed including weekends
