Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with existing and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote our products and services.
- Travel to client sites to demonstrate product functionalities and discuss service options.
- Answer client inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, and more, ensuring a thorough understanding of our catalog.
- Develop tailored sales strategies to attract more clients and close more sales efficiently.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the management team, highlighting sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry workshops to network with industry professionals and build new contacts.
- Stay up-to-date with new products / services and new pricing / payment plans.
- Going to our client base homes, answering any questions they may have about their current equipment.
- Assemble and demonstrate products to provide clear, effective demonstrations that highlight product benefits.
- Write product orders and maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities to ensure consistent follow-up and relationship management.
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with the existing client base to facilitate repeat business.
- Engage in continuous learning about the industry and the products we offer to improve sales performance and remain competitive.
Requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Experience in direct product sales and an understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Ability to network and build connections at trade shows and other industry events.
- An eye for opportunities for business growth and systems improvement.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Motivation for sales, including the resilience to overcome challenges and the desire to meet and exceed sales targets.
