Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned regions across the 0-24 month horizon.
- Utilize statistical forecasting techniques and historical data to generate reliable forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
- Facilitate monthly DMR meetings to review demand plans, identify risks and opportunities, and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure the DMR process is efficient and effective.
- Drive consensus on demand plans and communicate decisions to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze historical demand data to identify trends and patterns.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on demand plan performance and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop demand plans for new product introductions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing stockouts or excess inventory.
- Manage the end-of-life process for products, coordinating with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and methodologies.
- Implement data-driven initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and reduce forecast errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize supply chain performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or production planning.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with demand planning software (e.g., Demantra, SAP-APO, IBP) is preferred.
- Knowledge of the agrochemical or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
