The Project Admin will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with the administration of multiple construction projects from beginning to end. They will schedule, work with the budget, keep track of supplies, collaborate with subcontractors, and ensure all regulations are met and permits acquired.

The Project Admin will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with the administration of multiple construction projects from beginning to end. They will schedule, work with the budget, keep track of supplies, collaborate with subcontractors, and ensure all regulations are met and permits acquired.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with the oversight and administration of construction projects from beginning to end.
- Assist with the budget, cost coding, and cost estimates.
- Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with permits and building codes on multiple projects.
- Cross-collaborate with external vendors and subcontractors on schedule, invoicing and logistics.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule. Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and key team members of the project.
- Able to handle difficult or unexpected situations in the workplace as well as complex business challenges.
- Assist with the evaluation of risk. This involves conducting a thorough examination of the plans, site conditions, and all other relevant factors.
- Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
- Prepare reports regarding job status.
- Handle environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
- Assist with the creation and updating of the schedule, and communicate the schedule to all parties and ensure deadlines are met.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience

- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and/or architecture principles.
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
- Basic understanding of cost and budgets.
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Self-starter and ability to work both independently and also with teams.
- Ability to speak another language- Spanish (Preferred).
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and general computer software.
