TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

YOUR LIFE AS A CAREGIVER - DIRECT CARE AIDE
This entry-level caregiving position has full-time options :
Monday through Friday 8 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm or
Monday through Friday 9 : 00 am -3 : 00 pm
As an entry-level Caregiver - Direct Care Aide, you work with our nonprofit to support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. With enthusiasm, you assist with personal care, hygiene, motor skills, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion. You're flexible and always willing to help with behavior management and recreational activities as well. You have an absolute blast getting to know our clients!
Using effective mentoring techniques, you support our clients with their day-to-day schedules. You always model appropriate social skills and behaviors. If there are ever concerns about health or safety, you're quick to report them. You find it incredibly rewarding to provide personal care for these amazing individuals - the added fun that you have with them is the icing on the cake!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
You might be a good fit if you meet the following qualifications :
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle
- Willing to drive large vehicles
- A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities
No experience is required for this full-time entry-level role! If you can meet these requirements and perform this personal care job as described above, we'd love to have you as part of our caregiving team!
