As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the driving force in expanding the company’s customer base and growing sales within the metals industry. You will take a hands-on approach to building long-term relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Your ability to connect with decision-makers, present value-driven propositions, and close deals will directly contribute to the success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metals industry by targeting key decision-makers, building relationships, and uncovering customer needs.
- Sales Growth & Strategy : Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets, increasing market share and revenue across designated territories.
- Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers by understanding their business needs, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to strategically position products and services.
- Product Presentations : Conduct on-site and virtual product presentations to showcase the company’s offerings, emphasizing value, quality, and differentiation in the marketplace.
- Negotiation & Closing : Lead negotiations with customers to close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to pricing guidelines and profitability goals.
- Order & Delivery Management : Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, address any service-related concerns, and maintain positive relationships throughout the process.
- Customer Feedback : Act as the voice of the customer within the company, providing feedback to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
- Sales Reporting : Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates for management to track performance, identify trends, and align strategies.
